Absolutely anyone! We encourage everyday picnic bookings as well as special events such as proposals, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, baby showers, and all other occasion! If you’re booking a special event, don’t hesitate to reach out to us to see if we can do anything special for you!
We provide the physical set up which includes tables, linens, plates, utensils, glasses, pillows, blanket (for chilly weather), and decor. For food, we provide grazing boards, non-alcoholic beverages, and a sweet treat!
Reaching out as early as you can is ideal! We generally book out a month in advance.
Our charcuterie boards can include nuts, cheeses, crackers, fruits, etc. If you have a severe allergy and want to make sure we avoid it for your picnic please note it at the time of booking.
At this point we are operating out of Brown’s Island, Maymont Park, and Jolene Winery but are working to expand into the West End as well. Stay tuned for any locations added! You can request to have the picnic set up in our private home or backyard as well! Think of it as a date-night in!
Your booking includes two hours. You must show up within 15 minutes of the start time, and if you have to leave more than 15 minutes earlier than this in time, please text us or let us know so we can come take care of all clean up. You are responsible for the picnic supplies throughout the booking time.
If on the day before your scheduled picnic there is a high chance of unfavorable weather (rain, storms, etc), we will give you the option to reschedule or keep and risk the booking appointment. However, if it rains at the time of your booking, we will unfortunately be unable to accommodate the picnic or provide a refund.
Our largest picnic has been for 25 guests, but we generally book picnics from 2-10 guests. Thank you for supporting us as we strive to follow social distancing guidelines!
No, our staff will take care of all cleanup in addition to the set up. All you have to do is show up and enjoy it!
In general, we do not offer refunds. However if you need to reschedule, please do so 48 hours prior to your scheduled event. We will help you pick a new time and date and try to accommodate you.
We are thoroughly sanitizing all picnic equipment in between bookings. While prepping food, we wear masks and gloves and operate in a commercially licensed kitchen. All our staff will be wearing masks and gloves while setting up and taking down picnics. We are working hard to keep you safe and comfortable! Likewise, if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or been around someone that has tested positive recently, please respectfully let us know in advance and we will work with you to reschedule.
